GDC 2010
Mar 9th
It’s that time again… Andre and I will be flying up to chilly San Francisco tomorrow. Jamie is already up there with the Vaguely Spectacular folks in prep for Spectre’s showing in the IGF student showcase. It’s sure to be a lot of exhausting fun.
And hey, maybe we’ll have something other news to share soon. If you’re at the show come find us and hang out!
Buy Winterbottom!
Feb 18th
Our friends over at The Odd Gentlemen have just had their first game, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, released on the Xbox Live Arcade! You should definitely check it out, especially if you like time travel, silent films, or pie.
Peanut Gallery’s Jamie Antonisse did the writing for the game, so if you’re offended by the word “buttwitt,” you know who to blame.
Site changes
Feb 11th
If you’ve been here before, you’re probably noticing we changed the site layout. It’s not a big deal, just be cool while we get everything back where it should be.
Spectre goes to the IGF
Jan 19th
Big news! Spectre has been selected among the 10 Student Showcase winners at the 2010 Independent Games Festival!
Congrats to the Vaguely Spectacular team!
A quick update…
Nov 3rd
Hello out there,
I realized it’s been almost a month since we last updated the site, and figured it would be a good idea to let everyone know Peanut Gallery is still alive and well. We’re working on a few different projects now, and hopefully we’ll be able to talk about them soon.
That said, our current projects are still kicking, too. And there’s that whole IGF thing coming up soon… in fact, Destructoid’s Jordan Devore was kind enough to call out Minor Battle as one of four games to keep an eye on. Thanks Jordan!
It’s going to be stiff competition, with 306 More >

Post-Indiecade Media Roundup
Oct 9th
Finishing up the week after Indiecade 2009, here’s a quick media round-up of Peanut Gallery coverage:
Gametrailers TV covered Indiecade in their latest episode. Peanut Gallery’s games show up in Chapter 2, with GameTrailers’ Amanda Mackay interviewing our own Andre Clark about Minor Battle. You also get a quick peek at Spectre!
For the bonus round, try and spot John Brennan right at the end of the Minor Battle segment. He’s leaning over, playing… yep, you guessed it — Zeno Clash. The kid loves him some Half-Life.
Over at Gamasutra, Vincent Diamante gives impressions of Indiecade’s award-winners, including double-award winning Minor Battle: “The random More >

Minor Battle on Gametrailers TV this Thursday
Oct 8th
So one of the most exciting things I got to do at Indiecade was show off Minor Battle to the folks at Gametrailers.com. They seemed to really enjoy the game and wanted to interview me about its origins and kind of an overall summary of what the game is trying to do. Well that interview is supposed to air Thursday night/Friday morning at 12:30am on Spike TV. The only thing I remember about that day is that I was running off of 2 hours of sleep, so forgive me if I look noticeably tired or I stutter a few times More >
Minor Battle Wins at Indiecade!
Oct 5th
It’s been a fantastic weekend experiencing some great independent games and meeting some awesome people. Indiecade is finally over and I’m extremely happy to announce that Minor Battle walked out of the final award ceremony with both the Audience Choice Award and the Finalist Choice Award. We are all still in a bit of shock, but it is awesome to be recognized by our peers in such a way. All of the people I met at Indiecade are brilliant game makers and I think they’ve all changed my views on what the “indie” spirit is all about.
Thanks again to everyone More >
