Minor Battle on Gametrailers TV this Thursday

So one of the most exciting things I got to do at Indiecade was show off Minor Battle to the folks at Gametrailers.com. They seemed to really enjoy the game and wanted to interview me about its origins and kind of an overall summary of what the game is trying to do. Well that interview is supposed to air Thursday night/Friday morning at 12:30am on Spike TV. The only thing I remember about that day is that I was running off of 2 hours of sleep, so forgive me if I look noticeably tired or I stutter a few times :)

I was told there would be online video the day after it airs, so for those of you that miss the televised showing, I'll be sure to post the video for all to see.

Minor Battle Wins at Indiecade!

It's been a fantastic weekend experiencing some great independent games and meeting some awesome people. Indiecade is finally over and I'm extremely happy to announce that Minor Battle walked out of the final award ceremony with both the Audience Choice Award and the Finalist Choice Award. We are all still in a bit of shock, but it is awesome to be recognized by our peers in such a way. All of the people I met at Indiecade are brilliant game makers and I think they've all changed my views on what the "indie" spirit is all about.

Thanks again to everyone that played Minor Battle and Spectre at Indiecade.

So before we piece together all of the images and videos from Indiecade, I wanted to make sure people could see just how far along Minor Battle has come in the last 6 months. Here are some older videos that have been used to show off Minor Battle.

Minor Battle is ready to roll at Indiecade!

Tomorrow (okay, today officially) is the start of Indiecade 2009 which is taking place in Culver City, CA. Luckily for us at Peanut Gallery, that's really close by.

Minor Battle will be there in force, and with brand new art done by some very talented artists that we'll have to comment on soon. For now, gaze upon this early screenshot that Andre sent along early this morning:

Of course, if you can make it to Culver City over the next few days you can come play the game yourself.

Minor Battle is a multi-screen game that brings the chaos of the game world to the physical space around the game. Players must maneuver their avatars as well as themselves around the game as they accomplish various objectives.
